First drafts


I joined #AGBIC jam and chose this cartridge because I felt it. Today, at work instead of doing actual job, I sketched the main character on paper and then in Paint.NET.

I decided to use Haxe with HaxeFlixel. Even though it's a quite new language for me, after reading the docs and seeing how much it has grown, I believe this might be a good choice. I would like to merge platformer and a top-down views (switching between them when the context of the game changes). Top-down will use 32 by 32 pixel sprites and sidescroller will be 64x64.

Even though it's 18 days left, this is not much time to be honest. I would need to really work every day in order to actually produce something worth the time. I only hope that it wouldn't end as usual: burnout.

Better work on story for it. After all, I want it to be the Adventure with capital A.
